Our business has been established for over 25 years, during which time we have built a wealth of experience in all types of commercial, industrial and domestic flooring. Wood, concrete and hard floors i.e vinyl, linoleum and quarry tiles.

The proprietor of Finlay and Son carries out virtually all the work himself and we can arrange references of recent contracts as required.

We are used to working over school holidays, during shut-downs and bank holidays. We provide a personal service from the initial enquiry through to finishing and aftercare / maintenance of your floor.

Our family run business provides a service to both domestic and commercial customers which includes:

·         repair and resealing of timber floors;

·         scrubbing and sealing Granwood floors;

·         specialist treatment of domestic timber surrounds, staircases, fireplaces, beams and doors etc;

·         court line markings for gymnasium and sports hall floors;

·         domestic sub floor repairs and preparation;

·         concrete and hard floor cleaning, de-greasing, polishing, painting and dust-proofing.
