All types of timber floors can be restored – floorboards, parquet flooring, wood strip, overlay panels, wood mosaic etc.
Sanding, repairs, staining and finishing – for all types of domestic floors including kitchen, living room, conservatory, hallway and dining room. We use high quality, environmentally friendly products and can finish your floors using products from a varied selection of manufacturers. We do favour the Bona range of floor seals. Staining the floor to an alternative colour is often requested and we use the Morrells range of light fast wood dyes plus a few others from the Manns light fast range.
Repairs can be carried out using reclaimed and new wood depending on your floor. Reclaimed floor boards are usually sourced from a local reclamation yard, cut to size and selected for quality grain patterns and colours.
Timber floors are mostly very accommodating to the stresses and strains of modern life and in very few cases do we see floors which are “beyond renovation”.
Shown here are stain colour samples applied to a floor for two different projects, and a floor stained with a Victorian Pine colour and finished with Bona Mega in an extramatt sheen level. We have recently updated our stain colours and you can download the new 2018 stain colour chart here.
